I moved into a 3-floor house which had a floating staircase and incredibly no banisters or handrails from loft to ground floor – An immediate red flag as I have young children.After asking a few carpenters to for quotes we came across a young man called Raul from Alzate who really applied himself in finding the best solution to the problem, often viewing it from a child-safety point of view.Despite not being the cheapest of the quotes we went with Alzate as they gave us the confidence that they can do a good job. It went from a prospective good job and resulted in a great job.The carpenters on the job (Carlos and Jaime) were skilled, thorough and often listened to our minor tweaks to the design suggestions on the go. The finishing touch of applying the sanding and oiling also really made the staircase stand out.Thank you Alzate.

Alzate Carpentry provided an exceptional quality of service and went above and beyond on several occasions. We are very, very satisfied customers who look forward to working with the business again for further renovations.After shopping around, Alzate provided an incredibly competitive quote and were understanding about our personal situation to get the works completed asap. They kindly booked us in at the earliest opportunity.Most impressively they completed the work to an excellent standard. Excellent South London carpenters who built some stairs for our basement kitchen in a Victorian house. The work is fantastic and the attention to detail great. The booking process is painless and efficient and the work done really quickly. The new stairs are great. And the costs are pretty reasonable for craftsmanship of such a high standard. I highly recommend Carlos and his team.

Really great service! Came quickly to review the problems I needed fixing. Quick reply with a quote for works. Sent the carpenter within a few days of the initial review. Once properly on site we discovered the issue required a different solution and we coordinated to work out a good way forward. Very happy with the results of their work and the customer service we received!

Alzate Carpentry (Rau and Carlos) did a great job fitting in my wardrobe (which was a fitted wardrobe with overly simple interior design). The material they chose was extremely good quality and I love it after using for 2 weeks! No issues at all - especially impressed with with the drawers, smooth open and elegant soft close)The team was extremely efficient: first visit was to understand the briefing, second visit to take very detailed measurements. Third visit to fit in the wardrobe which was pretty much all done in their workshop. They fit in everything in 2-3 hours. Strongly recommend for domestic carpentry work!

Very happy with the results. We started communicating with them at the end of March and all completed in the second week of May. From the first appointment, they gave us the plan in 5 days or so, very quick and sufficient throughout the process.I liked how responsive they were and flexible in terms of the plan change etc. The result was very much what we were looking for. Will ask them if new project come up in the future.

I honestly cannot speak more highly of Raul, Carlos, Rodrigo and the team. We engaged them for quite a large project - practically an entire renovation of the house. They were amazing communicators, punctual, within budget, trustworthy, reliable and performed the work to the highest standard.In total, they did our entire flooring (re levelling and laying engineered flooring), extended the kitchen, complete bathroom refurbishment, created a cellar for us, all new doors, two cabinets and lots of other bits. This was all done within a month and a half - incredible.We now have the most beautiful house and we couldn’t be more grateful.You can trust these guys with anything and they won’t let you down.I’ve posted pictures of before and after around the house. The team did an excellent job making up replacement cupboards for my kitchen to replace ikea doors that had water damage. They colour matched and fitted them. Has transformed the kitchen. Didn't think the work could be done, especially to this high standard. Great job.Before and after pics below.A pleasure to deal with too. I'll use these guys again.

We found Alzate to provide an excellent service. It’s always hard to find good builders or carpenters but Alzate were outstanding.The quote was reasonable and the payment process was straight forward.Raul and his team were very friendly and professional and completed the job to a very high standard. We were especially impressed with Rodrigo’s work. His attention to detail and lovely personality shone through.They arrived when they said they would and completed the project on time and within budget. They were very clean and tidy!We would definitely recommend Alzate to anyone and will be using them again in the near future.

Our front door was badly damaged and because it was an abnormal size Alzate helped us buy a new one of the right size which they then had to fit to the doorway from scratch.Throughout the fitting they were very helpful, timely and professional. We are very pleased with the end result which was brilliant.

After careful consideration and 4 quotes I opted for Alzate Carpentry. I wanted contemporary new stairs with glass balustrades in oak. The workmanship is outstanding. The work took approx 2 weeks to complete and I have had several compliments about the stairs. They have opened up the hallway and is an inviting entrance. While they were here they completed our composite decking and both look fabulous. I highly recommend Alzate Carpentry. See before and after photos below. A*********

I worked with Raul a few week ago. The job consisted in changing the whole floor in my flat (circa 80 sqm) from old carpet to wooden floor. Raul and his team were always on time and very courteous throughout. They also helped me with some extra DIY which was not planed at first. Good price, good job and always on time. I highly recommend the service of Alzate Carpentry.

I highly recommend Alzate Carpentry if you want quality work done in a professional manner. I previously had used another service which I regret deeply as they ruined my fencing in my garden which I had to end up tearing it down completely. I was recommended Alzate Carpentry and I spoke to a lovely person named Raul who listened to my dilemma, Raul was very professional and explained step by step on what needs to be done and went in to detail what type of fencing I required and I could really feel how passionate and proud he is about his craft so I asked them to take the job on. He then visited us with his team and I explained to them my vision which they then proceeded to execute to perfection! I can honestly say using them was the best decision I have made period, they really went above and beyond for my request and listened to every detail to make it “tailor made”. I am so grateful for the amazing work Raul and his team did and I will be using there service again and I encourage everyone else to do so as they are top class. All that is left to say is thank you Alzate Carpentry for providing me with an immaculate fence.

We were advised Alzate Carpentry by a friend. In total we had three companies that came in and quoted for the renovations at our flat. We went with Alzate because they were professional, flexible and cost-effective.Alzate is a family run company that will fix any wood works for you. One year later, everything still functions perfectly and I also know that if something would need fixing - I could call them and they’d be straight there.

We used Alzate to create an amazing shoe cupboard, it wasnt an easy job as it needed knocking through and recreating with new doors and structure. They did a brilliant job! couldnt be more happy. They also helped putting numerous shelves around the house , which are built to last as well as installing a dressing room.On top of this, the personal touch was second to none, the team were highly communicative, keen, helpful, tidy and finished the job on time and with a smile.Hire these guys you wont regret it!
