May 2024: Alzate Carpentry (Rau and Carlos) did a great job fitting in my wardrobe (which was a fitted wardrobe with overly simple interior design). The material they chose was extremely good quality and I love it after using for 2 weeks! No issues at all - especially impressed with with the drawers, smooth open and elegant soft close) The team was extremely efficient: first visit was to understand the briefing, second visit to take very detailed measurements. Third visit to fit in the wardrobe which was pretty much all done in their workshop. They fit in everything in 2-3 hours. Strongly recommend for domestic carpentry work! July 2025: invited Carlos and team to come back and help me fit in another customised wardrobe, kitchen shelves and floating shelf in the living room. The team was very professional and Carlos visited twice to make sure we’re happy with the design and details before we go ahead with everything. There were a lot of colour choices for our wardrobe and the finish product was so nice, amazing quality for the price. The kitchen shelves look pretty much the same as my original design - which Carlos and team made an effort to ensure they align. The design process is meticulous with honest feedback and recommendations on chosen material and finish rounded off with a great CAD design. Although there was an unexpected issue with the installation of the upstairs wardrobe due to a weak wall, Alzate found a solution quickly and turned it around effortlessly. We worked with Raul and Carlos on a 3-4 months refurbishment project of our flat. We would highly recommend the team and would be really pleased to continue working with them for future projects. For the current refurbishment, while no heavy structural work was needed, it was a complex project involving dismantling of the old flooring, the kitchen and the bathroom; refitting insulation, floor board, underfloor heating (including boiler), tiling, white goods in the bathroom, etc. etc. Raul also designed bespoke wardrobes in the bedrooms and cabinets in the bathroom, one of them to be a utility one (containing washing machine, detergents, ironing board, etc) There were quite a few challanges in the process, as absolutely normal, due to unforeseen issues, downstream impact of delays in items ordered, etc. etc. We can't say that the process was seamingless - and we are perhaps very demanding in terms of standards - but what we can say is that Raul and the team did everything they could to support addressing those issues, taking the extra time with patience and due diligence. The team is honest and laborious and we could be more grateful for that. The team was always willing to pop by or arrange a Zoom call whenever we requested one, even late evenings to accomodate our schedule, to brainstorm on solutions, get an idea of timelines, explanations. At no time did we feel they were trying to avoid our questions. Thank you team for helping us making this flat our home! Carlos offered a wide range of design options and was incredibly flexible—he was able to bring any idea to life, which is something I found quite rare when speaking to other designers.
